Portsmouth based manufacturer Task Welding requires a welder and fabricator. We are looking for a semi-skilled Welder to assist with our ongoing projects at the Portsmouth Facility.

You will be joining a hardworking and highly skilled team based in Hilsea to continue our success and growth within our manufacturing facility. Applicants must have a basic understanding of blueprints, engineering drawings and previous experience working with pressure vessels on automated and manual welding machines.

Task Welding is an established company, which serves a variety of sectors. We are an expanding company seeking new staff to allow us to better serve our customers.

Using our trainee programme, you will be working with local colleges to further your welding skills to a coded level, along with previously acquired knowledge to complete tasks.

Applicants must be able to inspect and test equipment and welds. The desired applicant would have 2 or more years of experience and an understanding of TIG & ARC welding. You will be working for leading manufacturers with on-site and off-site projects based in Portsmouth and the Greater London area. We are looking for someone who always strives to improve. PAYE options are available and the rate is negotiable depending on experience.
